Wind, my Wove

Yesterday, it was so lovely outside. I walked out of school expecting a cold breeze to hit me, but I didn't get one. Just nice warm sky. I was so happy I didn't have to cover myself in my marshmallow-looking jacket, I only wore my "new" sweater and shawl (curtosy of my friend ^^ Swap parties work!). I even got to take a nice walk. But today, so terrible. It's so windy I fear a tree might fall down!!! :O

I think I have no life... NO I AM NOT A DEPRESSED CHILD! This will prove it; I slept all day, and now am surfing Style.com for a Spanish project (don't ask how I'm so lucky to link fashion to Spanish class. It just happened.)

Warn `n Cozy All Winter Long

Even now, it's still funny when people say, "You knit that?!" whenever I wear my knit hats. Yes, I did knit it. It's not a complete lie. Actually, I knifty knit. Knifty Knitting (I feel like I spelled it wrong...) is a company that makes these looms to knit hats, scarves, socks; WHATEVER YOU WANT! I never tried actual knitting, but it looks WAY too complicated for me. I first learned of these loom's existences in camp, and since the activity was always full, I ended up buying the looms and yarn myself after camp. Then, I fell in love. These hats can keep you warm all winter long, and even feel fine in the summer! You can double the yarn so it's extra cozy, or just use one strand. I think I have around 5-6 hats for myself, 2 scarves, and countless hats and scarves I've made for my friends and family. This kind of craft is terribly addictive, so beware!

I feel so productive today. Trust me, that's a lot seeing that it's a Sunday, a lazy day for me. 'Pretty happy because I get a day off for MLK Day. But it's not just a day off guys. Seriously. Remember MLK he's a big historical figure!! (Ack, Social Studies is getting to me...)
